David Pietka
Bio
Mr. Pietka has been a real estate appraiser, advisor, and consultant in Portland and the Pacific Northwest since 1974. In 1978, he co-founded Palmer Groth & Pietka (later PGP Valuation) and served as President for 23 years. During 2006, Mr. Pietka assisted PGP in its sale to Colliers International. In recent years he has enjoyed reviewing appraisals, consulting with clients, and managing a portfolio of real estate properties. Additionally, he has taught real estate courses as a part-time instructor at Mt. Hood Community College, Portland Community College, Portland State University and seminars for Northwest Center for Professional Education. As a past member of the Portland Central City Plan Steering Committee, Portland Housing Advisory Committee, Chairperson of the City Demolition Delay and Density Task Force, Vice Chairman of the Mid-County Sewer Project Cost Alternative Task Force, Portland Affordable Housing Preservation Trust, CSO Financing Alternatives Task Force, and DEQ Parking Ratio Technical Advisory Committee, he has been heavily involved in Portland planning and housing issues since 1985. Mr. Pietka also served as a Board Member of the Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp Board of Directors and manages All Comer Track and Cross Country Meets for the City of Portland.
